12 DIY Christmas Gifts!

I'm not going to sit here and pretend i'm a DIY goddess or anything, in fact i'm quite the opposite, but it doesn't stop me from trying. I think a lot of crafting tutorials can look pretty daunting and usually there are so many products you need to buy, you might as well just buy the thing you want outright! But when it comes to Christmas and other special occasions, I do think it's nice to just go for it and give DIY projects a good old go!

Personally I love handmade items, whether it's something made by a friend or bought from a  little independent shop, they're usually more rustic and unique, and just kinda mean that little bit more!

I've gone through Pinterest and the internet for some fun DIY gift ideas, and have collected by favourites below, which ones will you try?

DIY Snowman Mug
Get the tutorial at ihearnaptime
A perfect one for the kids to get involved with too, let them scribble away with their Sharpie at any age for a super unique design!

Painted Camera Strap
Get the tutorial at Design Love Fest
This does need a few more supplies but is perfect for any budding photographers or bloggers!

Mini Gold Leaf Notebooks
Get the tutorial at Curbly
I'm one of those people who is always jotting things down on scraps of paper, then I end up losing them all so notebooks are perfect for me to keep my thoughts together!

Peppermint Body Scrub

Who doesn't love bath products at Christmas? They are so easy to make at home you'll wonder why you ever bought them in the past!

Glitter Vases

Ombre Candles

Candles are always a popular present, they can be used all year round and are actually easier than you thought to personalise!

Snowball Wreath

Wreaths are becoming more and more popular each year, but with that comes higher prices too, i'm lucky Ben works somewhere we can get a good discount but it is still too much really! Why not try making one yourself, there are los of tutorials online for you to follow and try!

  5. There are some great ideas here. I love the idea of giving homemade gifts at Christmas but I always run out of time. I adore those glitter vases. I may have to make one for myself as a Christmas present. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
