Review | Thule Satchel Camera Bag

Happy Sunday all, hope you're all having a great weekend!
Today I have a little product review to share, if you're a regular reader of my blog, you will have heard of this amazing brand more than once, I have been lucky enough to work with them for a good few years now, and once again their product has not let me down!

Thule as a brand always have active families in mind, and that's exactly what you can expect from this. Thule has fused together passionate outdoor enthusiasts, their accomplished Swedish engineering team and seasoned industry experts to create a global team that can design and build backpacks that truly raise the bar.

Since 1942, Thule has been helping outdoor enthusiasts transport their gear safely, easily and in style. Now they've gone and outdone themselves yet again by creating innovative and technical backpacks! And of course they are developed with the same goal in mind: helping people live an active life. Thule know exactly what is needed for active families and their products, the perfect fit, ease of use, safety tested, premium quality and contemporary styling too! Everything you could imagine needing, they've created for you.

For a long time i've needed a proper little camera bag, something I can use for small shoots where I really don't need too much, nothing bulky and something that can fit everything I need in it without being too much of an effort to just carry around. Storage really isn't an issue here, I can easily fit in my Nikon camera attached with the 18-55mm lens, lens cap, 2 batteries, multiple memory cards and lens cleaner!

The bag is absolutely everything you need if you really aren't needing lots of equipment. It's pretty compact, the quality is once again OUTSTANDING, i'm yet to come across any other brand that impresses me as much as Thule. Whether it's a long walk, photoshoot or a family day out, my Thule Bag will be coming with me!

Full details are below;

  • SafeZone removable camera pod system with dual-density padded bottom
  • Fits up to prosumer DSLR body with attached ultra-wide-angle lens
  • Durable and water-resistant, two-tone Oxford material
  • Ergonomic chassis system provides the perfect balance of support and cushioning
  • Storage compartment for cleaning supplies keeps dust out and safely stores memory cards in elastic slip pockets
  • Water-repellent YKK Zippers and Duraflex fasteners
  • High-visibility interior lining material to help you easily locate small accessories
  • Origami-inspired divider system folds around the smallest to largest pieces of gear for custom fit and protection
  • Reflective Thule logo
  • Top loading compartment opens away from body for easy access and security

One of my favourite things about Thule is no matter what time of the year it is, they are there to encourage and help you to get more active outdoors, they've got you covered whether you're travelling on foot, by car, with pushchairs, with kids, without kids, they will have something to make your life that little bit easier!

A few years ago now I reviewed the AMAZING Thule Urban Glide, a surprisingly lightweight stroller that will tick every single box when it comes to choosing a versatile pushchair, complete with plenty of storage, the ability to breeze through any type of terrain, including sand, shallow water, bark  and mud.

Features;
Swivel front wheel for easy maneuverability, locks into place for jogging
One-handed compact fold for storing and transporting
Ergonomic handlebar with a range of heights for parent's comfort
Rear suspension for a smooth and comfortable ride
Padded seat with vented top reclines to a near flat position for on-the-go naps
Multi-position canopy for added protection with view-in roof port to see your child
Large storage compartment with zippered water resistant cover

Another product I had been lucky enough to review was the Thule Ride Along, a super easy to use, reclining child bike seat, again an impressively constructed product using only the best materials to ensure comfort and safety for your little one! The assembly was a little fiddly but to be expected really, products like this need to take a little bit longer to ensure complete safety for your little ones, so I didn't mind it took a while.
